A Journey Through Academia
My engineering journey began at the University of Moratuwa, where I pursued a BSc. (Honours) degree in Electrical Engineering. This rigorous academic path not only strengthened my theoretical foundation but also sparked a lasting passion for the dynamic world of Electrical Engineering..
The Professional Odyssey
Stepping out of academia, I first ventured into the industry as a self-managed contractor, focusing on rooftop solar and off-grid projects. These early experiences gave me hands-on exposure to the challenges and possibilities of renewable energy at a practical level.
Seeking to broaden my horizons, I later joined the Renewables Division of Larsen & Toubro, where I contributed as an Electrical Engineer in Renewable Energy. This role allowed me to work alongside industry leaders and deepen my expertise in large-scale projects.
Passions Beyond the Desk
For me, Off-grids & Renewable energy is more than a profession—it’s a commitment to shaping sustainable futures. Beyond that, I remain deeply engaged in electrical installations, where I find both challenges and opportunities to innovate.
